ANTIYA is the title of RA’s first solo show and it is now the name that defines his style of drawing. ANTIYA, a Buddhist concept, states that everything, including the self, is in constant flux, and the more we can accept the natural impermanence of our worlds, the more peace we experience. The creative process allows RA to develop creations that emerge over time and initiate a series of moves that inform the final composition through iterative actions and reactions. Drawings evolve in the moment, but the process of drawing changes over longer periods of time as well.
